Escala is the last writing tool released by Los Angeles-based studio ēnsso. Escala is a fountain pen with a cap that serves as scale-ruler with 12 metric and imperial scales. The tool is made out of a solid block of space-grade aluminum in matte black with white contrasting engraving scale marks.
Escala is provided with a German-made nib of the highest quality. Nib sizes available are three: fine, medium, and broad. Escala comes with a ink converter to use with bottled ink.
The product is in its funding campaign on Kickstarter where it has already met 5 times more the intended result. The price per piece is 50 USD.
